Established in 1991, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) is the only non-profit national professional society dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. The AADSM is the leading national organization representing dentists who treat sleep-disordered breathing, which includes obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring, with oral appliance therapy (OAT).

Established in 2004, the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) is an independent, self-designated, nonprofit testing organization of dentists who treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. Today, more than 1000 ABDSM Diplomates are providing quality treatment for patients across the country.

An authoritative national voice of dentistry, the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) provides links to news and information on dentistry and oral health in Canada.

CDA works in collaboration with the provincial and territorial dental associations to promote optimal oral health for all Canadians.

The ODA is the voluntary professional organization that represents the dentists of Ontario, supports its members, and is dedicated to the provision of exemplary oral health care and promotes the attainment of optimal health for the people of Ontario.

Alpha Omega is the oldest international dental organization in the world and was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1907.

Alpha Omega is primarily an educational and philanthropic organization. There are chapters and members in cities and dental schools in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Israel, South Africa and Australia and New Zealand.

The ODAA supports dental assistants as respected healthcare professionals through visionary leadership and recognized credentials, fostering a unified sense of pride among its members.

The Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA) is the certifying body and membership association supporting Ontario dental assistants.
