October 2019: Tips, eNews & More!

Colours changing and temperatures dropping – these scenic views are a great time for cozy long walks with hot cups of coffee – or everything pumpkin spiced? Even though the chilly temperature is not something to look forward to, October does have a lot to offer. From leaves changing colours to enjoying a delicious Thanksgiving feast, or secretly indulging in the Halloween candies – we are all about this excitement!

But remember, as you treat yourself to these delicacies, do not forget about your healthy smile. Make sure you brush and floss your teeth twice a day, drink plenty of water, and come in for a check-up to stay on top of your oral health.

As this is also the month of giving thanks – we would like to thank you for choosing us as your dental care provider and letting us take care of you and your family's oral health.

Use It or Lose It
For insured patients, with the end of the year approaching, if your dental benefits are based on the calendar year, it may not roll over into the new year. It is a good idea to find time for a cleaning or checkup to ensure you get the most out of your plan. Also, if you have more significant work that you've been holding off from starting, speak to us about options to split it between your 2018 and 2019 insurance allotment. Book an appointment before January 1st when your insurance renews again.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and wishing you a fun filled Halloween!
