November 2016: Tips, eNews and More!

Can you believe that the year is almost over? November sometimes feels like an in-between time; some very cool days, occasionally mild days; after Thanksgiving, but still sometime before the end of year holidays – why not use the time to get ready for the winter season? As you're snacking on your Halloween candy stash, try and tackle an item or two off your check list of annual winter chores. Here's what's on our list of things to do; get out those winter jackets and boots from storage, put snow tires on if you have them, remove the garden hose so your pipes don't freeze, enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate.
As it gets colder, you might have noticed some increasing sensitivity with your teeth, when eating or drinking or even just going outside in the cool weather. Tooth sensitivity can be caused by a broken or decaying tooth, or worn down enamel from grinding. If you've been experiencing tooth sensitivity, make sure to get in touch with us, so we can get to the root of the problem.
With the end of the year approaching, if your dental benefits are based on the calendar year, you'll want to make sure you get in your checkup so they don't go to waste! Try and book an appointment as early as possible since they're sure to fill up fast.
Have a safe and healthy month,
Dr. Ron Barzilay
